BALI, INDONESIA

Wadah Titian Harapan Foundation launched the “Wadah Universal Education Initiative” (WUEI) at the “A Celebration of Life” event placed in the Raffles Hotel Bali, on August 19, 2023.

NAGEKEO-NTT, INDONESIA

Wadah Foundation “Wadah”, in collaboration with Barefoot College International and the Nagekeo District Government, have organized a training program for 11 participants – 10 women ana 1 man from five villages spread over three sub-district in Nagekeo Regency, Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara.

NAGEKEO and ALOR-NTT, INDONESIA

Virtual inauguration of the seven (7) solar workshops in the said districts. Five (5) solar workshops are in Makipaket Village (Mbay II), Rendubutowe Village, Tedakisa Village, Tedamude Village and Pagomogo, Village in the District of Nagekeo; and two (2) are in Tasi Village and Talwai Village in the District of Alor.

KOA-NTT, INDONESIA

The Monit Fe’u Preschool Building was inaugurated and officially turned over to the local government and villagers in Fatuliman, Koa. Due to the pandemic, however, the inauguration of the Monit Fe’u Preschool Building had to be done virtually.

BALI, INDONESIA

Wadah International Committee (WIC) member Jane Hawkins spearheaded the fundraising activity dubbed as “The Bali Event.” The event aimed to raise funds for the construction of a preschool and community center at Fatuliman Hamlet in Koa Village, South Central Timor (Timor Tengah Selatan) at East Nusa Tenggara.

The 3rd Wadah Global Gathering, conducted on 22-23 March 2018, was about women leaders who had been working courageously and tirelessly to address the challenges confronting their societies, cultures and communities.

The Second Indonesia Youth Program (REWIN) with the theme “building the fighting spirit of Indonesian youth”.
The REWIN program involves youth from various Wadah communities in the country with the aim of educating young people who have faith, have noble character, are firm and confident.

REWIN activities were designed to help the youth build a positive outlook in life and teach them proper values. By the end of the event, the youth were expected to have a more positive response to the world so that they can grow and develop as better individuals.
YOGYAKARTA, INDONESIA.
At the 2nd Wadah Global Gathering selected youths from Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Nepal, and the Philippines shared the stage with four CNN Heroes of the Year and held the audience in their thrall with their graphic tales and heart-rending aspirations.

The discussions, featuring illustrious personalities led by four CNN Heroes: Efren Penaflorida, Anuradha Koirala, Robin Lim and Budi Suhardi; Dr. Pardis Madhavi; Dr. Abdul Karim Raj; Dr. Imam Prasodjo; Fr. Rocky Evangelista; Dr. Agus Priyono; Pdt Karina de Vega; Imelda Salajan; Rio and TJ Manotoc, and wonder kid Kesz Valdez, were intense, rich, and varied.
MANILA, PHILIPPINES
The Wadah International Gathering held in Manila penetrated global issues on which Wadah Foundation will take a stand. Global Best Practices in the areas of anti-human trafficking and poverty alleviation through education, community development, ect.
 
JAKARTA, INDONESIA
The first Wadah Gathering was held in Jakarta, It convened Wadah’s pioneering heroes and homegrown champions who overcame tremendous odds to empower communities at the grassroots level.
