Indonesian Banks Association Provides Free Medical Treatment for Wadah Communities in Yogyakarta

The Yogyakarta Branch of the Indonesian Banks Association (Perbanas), which consists of 24 Banks, organized a one-day medical outreach activity to Wadah communities in  Yogyakarta last October 11, 2016. The medical outreach program is a part of the Yogyakarta’s Perbanas corporate social responsibility program (CSR) was implemented in collaboration  with the Wadah Yogyakarta Secretariat. 

The Wadah Communities of PKM Wadah Mutiara Abadi, Sanggar Aditya Yodha, PKM Wadah Arsari Sekar, PKM Wadah Bosskid, and Wates Orphanage in Wates Kulon Progo received free medical treatment. In addition to the Wadah communities, a village pre-school (PAUD Sawo) located closely to PKM Wadah Mutiara Abadi in Hamlet Karanggeneng, Sleman also received similar services.

Aside from providing medical treatments, Perbanas also provided supplementary food (milk), educational learning aids (ELA) and playground equipment for a number of PAUD as well as a new septic tank for the Wates Orphanage in Wates Kulon Progo. 

ELAs were given to PAUD Argodadi Sungapan in Bantul, PAUD Bosskid in Ngasem Tepus, Gunung Kidul, the newly established PAUD Aditya Yodha  and PAUD Sawo in Karanggeneng village, Sleman. (BH)
